Your Role

Empowering Clients

  • Identify behaviours and habits holding clients back.

  • Use coaching techniques to guide clients toward practical steps that align with their values.

  • Help clients overcome common financial challenges, from emotional spending to fear of action.

  • Work alongside advisers to build clients’ confidence and lasting financial skills.

Advisory Support

  • Assist advisers with Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).

  • Conduct research to develop tailored financial strategies addressing both technical and behavioural needs.

  • Attend client meetings, take notes, and ensure action items are completed.

  • Coordinate implementation of holistic financial plans, including cash flow, debt, investments, superannuation, and insurance strategies.

Professional Year Development

  • Receive structured support to meet ASIC supervision and competency standards.

  • Gain exposure to real-world client scenarios to develop advisory skills.

  • Work closely with mentors to fast-track your journey to becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser within 12-18 months.

Compliance and Standards

  • Ensure all advice meets regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain accurate client records and regularly review portfolios.

  • Stay informed about financial strategies and regulatory changes to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications & Expertise

  • Approved Financial Planning Degree (or working toward completion).

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial planning.

  • Desire to complete your Professional Year and the FASEA (ASIC Financial Adviser) Exam.

  • Experience with financial planning software, especially XPLAN, is strongly preferred.

  • Passion for behavioural finance and helping clients take control of their financial future.
